Wandering Hearts is a serene slice-of-life game designed to immerse players in a tranquil countryside village. The focus lies in exploring the environment, building meaningful relationships with the residents, and uncovering a heartfelt narrative about growth and community.

The game emphasizes a warm, peaceful aesthetic inspired by calming visuals and storytelling. Players can engage with light puzzles and interact with the environment at their own pace, making it an emotionally enriching experience.

My Role

As the sole developer, I handled all aspects of Wandering Hearts, including programming, design, and storytelling. My primary focus was on crafting systems that complemented the serene tone of the game and ensuring the narrative remained engaging.

Creating the visual style was especially challenging, as I experimented extensively with shaders and lighting to capture the perfect atmosphere. Writing dialogue and interactions for the characters took significant time to ensure every character felt unique and relatable.

Game In Development

The programming side of Wandering Hearts is complete, with basic functions and systems fully implemented. Players can move through the environment, interact with objects, and experience the core mechanics of the game.

However, the story and visual assets are still in development. Finalizing the narrative, designing environments, and adding polished art assets remain the primary tasks before the game reaches completion.
